M3 full weekend closure – 11 to 14 July

National Highways is closing the M3 between junction 3 and junction 4 in both directions between 11 and 14 July. Timings of the weekend closure are:

  • 12 noon - M3 junction 3 southbound entry slip road closes
  • 7pm - M3 J3 to 4 northbound (London-bound) carriageway closes
  • 9pm - M3 J3 to 4 southbound carriageway closes

Weekend closure for bridge installation - Friday 11 – Monday 14 July

We're still on track to lift the new bridge into place on the weekend of Friday 11 – Monday 14 July. This is the earliest we can close the M3 to do this work.

We'll close the motorway in both directions between junction 3 for Bagshot and junction 4 for Frimley.

We'll stagger the of start the closure on Friday 11 July:

  • 12 noon - M3 junction 3 southbound entry slip road closes
  • 7pm - M3 J4 to 3 northbound (London-bound) carriageway closes
  • 9pm - M3 J3 to 4 southbound carriageway closes 

We'll reopen all carriageways by 6am Monday 14 July.

Diversion

A signed diversion route will be in place but we advise everyone to allow extra time for their journeys.

All roads close to the closure and around Blackwater, Bagshot, Camberley, and Windlesham will be much busier than usual.
